‌Shuttles mainly include the following types:

‌Two-way shuttles: This type of shuttle only supports forward and backward linear movement and requires a forklift to achieve cross-layer operations. They are suitable for fixed aisles and large cargo batches, but they are less flexible. In low-temperature environments, due to the limited direction of movement, track frost is prone to jamming problems, and the maintenance frequency is high.

‌Four-way shuttles: Four-way shuttles can move freely forward, backward, left and right, and can change floors with a hoist. Its core advantages include high flexibility, intelligence (such as integrated RFID, laser navigation technology) and low-temperature adaptability. Models designed for cold storage can operate stably in environments of -25℃ to -30℃, equipped with low-temperature batteries and anti-condensation coatings.

‌Mother-child shuttles: Mother-child shuttles are upgraded versions of two-way shuttles and are controlled by a computer system. The mother car leads a series of child cars on the main road of the warehouse, and the child cars can independently store goods in the aisles, greatly improving work efficiency. However, the structure and composition of the mother-child shuttle are relatively complex, the system stability is relatively poor, and the implementation and maintenance costs are high.
