Changes in floor height differences can cause the forklift gantry to shake, amplifying the static tilt of the shelf and forklift. According to the European standard EN25620-2008, the horizontal position of the ground should not exceed plus or minus 15mm of the reference point.

‌ Earthquake-resistant design: Since the height of narrow aisle shelves is usually between 10-15 meters, the shelf structure requires special earthquake-resistant design. If conditions permit, the shelf structure should be selected after finite element analysis.

‌ Guide rails: The channel width of narrow aisle shelves is generally between 1.6-2.0 meters. Guide rails must be set on the bottom of the shelf to provide driving guidance for three-way forklifts. The guide rails are designed to ensure that the forklift can travel stably in narrow aisles.

‌Forklift type‌: Narrow aisle shelves mainly use narrow aisle forklifts (also known as three-way forklifts) for storage and retrieval operations. The load of a single pallet generally does not exceed 1500kg‌.
